yep, let's all blame lorry drivers for accidents, despite the fact it's usually car drivers who crash into lorries, not the other way around.
on the road all day, everyday, your standard of driving has to be higher than 4wd school run mums, and let's not forget HGV drivers have to undergo medicals, theory tests, 2 different practical assessments both on the road and in a test centre, owner drivers also have to do a CPC course equivalent to an A level.
It is a bit ridiculous to complain about lorries breaking the 80km/h speed limit when they are limited to 85km/h maximum speed. does 5km/h really matter? The usual leeway given by police in the north is 15 mph on a main route.
